It’s always so exciting to see a cavernous ballroom transformed into a magical setting through the use of flowers, decor and lighting. The Taglyan Cultural Complex in the heart of Hollywood is a fairly new building designed and constructed to look like a vintage building but with all the built-in necessities that one would need when planning a swanky and spectacular event! This wedding was over-the-top with chic and sexy elements but was also full of tradition as the bride and groom fused their two distinct cultures into one grand affair! I loved getting an education on the meaning behind one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen created…the Sofreh…the Persian word for “spread” which is designed and used in the wedding ceremony. Duke Photography and Christine Zohrabians of Fancy That Events were part of this very special couples most magical of days!

I’ve designed weddings with every color palette imaginable! I never tire of the all-white wedding, for instance, or weddings where pink flowers and table linens overflow with dreamy blushy-softness! I am also in love with the vibrant and bold palettes that infuse fuschia with orange, yellow, purple and blue!
